We told you we had a large herd, here are a few of the others:
Lamiglas
Lamiglas is a premier supplier of high-end fishing rods catering to fishermen who are concerned with every minute detail involved with their equipment. Flying I Ranch was hired to build out their site based upon designs developed in conjunction with their 2004 catalog by Brauer/Dugan Advertising. All specific rod information is stored in a database that builds the product pages and opens the door for potential e-commerce. Flying I Ranch also built Flash-based navigation and Home and product page animations.

Almar Boats
Almar Boats is the place to go to find durable all-welded aluminum boats. When Brauer/Dugan Advertising needed someone to build a site for Almar, they knew the right where to go. Flying I Ranch and Squishy Media supplied all the production for this site and got it up and running in time for their winter trade show. Almar wanted their site to be interactive and slick, so we knew right away Flash was the way to go. We developed Flash-based product pages and galleries that quickly give the user all the information they need.
Corvallis Tourism
Corvallis Tourism, the Convention and Visitor's Bureau for Corvallis and the Lower Willamette Valley, engaged Flying I Ranch to evaluate their Website as part of a major rebranding effort. The site was showing signs of age and had some usability problems. It was time for a redesign, and the Ranch was there to help out.
Working in conjunction with Corvallis Tourism's director, Ranch Wranglers identified different types of potential Website visitors and their individual needs. Armed with this information, we organized the current content into sections representing these groups: Visitors, Meeting Planners and Sports-oriented Visitors. As the project progressed, we identified a need to present lodging and events information as well. To facilitate ease of access to such a large array of information, the Ranch developed a drop-down navigation that revealed different areas of the site as they were needed.
To showcase the breathtaking beauty of the Corvallis region, Ranch designers created postcards of images taken by well-known local photographers that users can send from the Website to any email address. Other pictures were used throughout the site to help convey the small-town, "America That Was" feeling of covered bridges, shady streets and church steeples.
The result is a highly usable, information-packed Website that retains an uncluttered look and feel while showcasing the beauty and charm of the Central Willamette Valley.
1000rockshirts.com
A promotional Website for an outstanding collection of rock 'n' roll t-shirts and memorabilia, this site shows some of the possibilities of Flash. The collection includes many of the biggest names in music including Mötley Crüe, Queen, David Bowie, The Who, and Dokken.
The curator, Tacee Chalfa of Portland's famous Red Light Clothing Exchange, envisions creating a national archive of this unique slice of American culture. Pieces from the collection are currently scheduled to be lent out to the Dandy Warhols for an upcoming photo shoot for Rolling Stone Magazine, and future arrangements with the Experience Music Project and the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame are in the works.
The Flash Website's unique interface features a sortable stack of Polaroids with rock 'n' roll models wearing shirts and jackets from the collection. Phase II plans include a dynamic back end that will enable users to search for individual bands and shirts within the Polaroid interface, submit rock 'n' roll stories, purchase specific items, etc. as well as a searchable database of user information.
Marylhurst University
Marylhurst University wanted to update their site with a more inviting, colorful look. Previously Marylhurst's dark color palette was giving users the impression that the university was not a very exciting place to learn. Users also complained of not being able to find the information they needed. Flying I Ranch updated the look and feel and created a navigational scheme that allows users to get to the areas they wanted as quickly as possible within a friendly and vibrant atmosphere.
Amcrin
Amcrin Corporation, the American Criminal Investigators Network, is a technical investigative services company founded by two former members of the Portland Police Department. Amcrin's mission is to aid check and wire fraud investigators in coordinating information that to date is frequently duplicated between multiple investigators in disparate geographic locations.
Ranch Technology Wrangler Bryan White drove the initial technology explorations with Amcrin and was instrumental in developing the project plan, leading the actual system implementation (including all installation and management onto bare enterprise-class servers) and developing Cold Fusion code in the finalization of the system. Flying I Ranch currently provides Amcrin support in maintenance and expansion as their user base increases.

North River Boats
A local manufacturer of custom river boats, North River Boats faced the time-consuming and daunting task of manually changing the textual descriptions, parts list and features lists of their showcase offerings on their site. As these boats may change literally every day, this was a losing proposition. Further, the way the sales staff, manufacturing staff and web staff would store and maintain the parts lists for their departmental use varied wildly. With the goal of eventually being the single-store of the definitive information on these boats, we (working with Squishy Media, who designed the site) automated the construction of boat definitions for display on the site with all descriptive information, parts lists, etc., in a database. This allows North River to, for example quickly update parts definitions across all boats quickly from a secure, web-based interface. The eventual goal is to also generate everything from sales data sheets to manufacturing orders from this single database.

Social Step
Social Step is a large-scale portal for music, parties and events in major urban markets. Flying I Ranch helps Social step maintain their massive events database and also creates promotional tools such as a mechanism that allows other sites to download selective data, an interface that lets users receive event information on cell phones and other mobile devices, Flash banner advertisements and custom sponsor-branded HTML pages. Flying I Ranch also created back end functionality for the widely successful Essence Music Festival Trivia Contest.

BoomDigital
Flying I Ranch has worked with BoomDigital on a variety of projects. BoomDigital is a NYC based interactive agency specializing in Urban markets and Hip-Hop music projects. Flying I Ranch has partnered with Boomdigital to develop flash e-cards, information-capture back ends and html sites. The RLmusic.net ecard was designed and programmed by Flying I Ranch. This Flash e-card also contains a back end to capture users' personal Information.
